We are seeking a skilled Playlist Curator to create and manage engaging playlists across various streaming platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of music trends, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop playlists that resonate with different audiences. This role involves collaborating with artists, the marketing team, and industry influencers to maximize the reach and impact of our music.

Responsibilities:
Playlist Creation:
- Develop and maintain playlists that showcase our music catalog, tailored to different genres, moods, and occasions.
- Ensure playlists are updated regularly with new releases and trending tracks.
Market Research:
- Stay up-to-date with current music trends, streaming habits, and audience preferences.
- Analyze streaming data and listener feedback to optimize playlist performance.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with artists and the marketing team to incorporate their input and promote their music effectively.
- Build relationships with playlist editors, influencers, and streaming platform representatives to enhance playlist visibility.
- Pitch our songs to existing playlists, ensuring they reach the right audience.
Promotion:
- Develop strategies to promote playlists across various channels, including social media, newsletters, and the company website.
- Coordinate with the social media team to create engaging content that drives playlist engagement.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor playlist performance using analytics tools, tracking metrics such as plays, skips, and follower growth.
- Prepare and present regular reports on playlist performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Innovation:
- Experiment with new playlist concepts and formats to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends and technologies in the music streaming industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Playlist Curator(or willingness to be trained), Music Editor, or similar role in the music industry.
- Deep knowledge of various music genres and trends.
- Strong understanding of streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for music and a commitment to connecting songs with listeners.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies.
