Responsibilities:

• Pitching and Promotion:

  • Pitch our songs to radio stations worldwide, including commercial, college, and online radio.
  • Develop and execute radio promotion strategies to increase airplay and exposure.
  • Create and distribute press kits, promotional materials, and digital assets to radio stations.

• Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with radio DJs, program directors, and other key radio personnel.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, live performances, and radio appearances for our artists.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and radio stations.

• Campaign Management:

  • Monitor and track the progress of radio campaigns, ensuring our songs receive maximum airplay.
  • Analyze airplay data and report on the effectiveness of radio promotion efforts.
  • Adjust strategies as needed to optimize campaign performance.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing and PR teams to align radio promotion efforts with overall marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with artists and their management teams to ensure seamless execution of radio appearances and interviews.

• Industry Trends:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the radio industry.
  • Identify new opportunities for radio promotion and explore innovative ways to increase airplay.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Radio Promoter, Radio Plugger, or similar role in the music industry.
• Strong network of contacts within the radio industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute effective radio promotion strategies.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for music and a deep understanding of different music genres.
• Familiarity with radio tracking and airplay monitoring tools.
