Responsibilities:

• Talent Identification:

  • Scour the internet, social media platforms, and other channels to identify talented vocalists with exceptional voices.
  • Attend live performances, auditions, and music events to discover new talent.
  • Evaluate vocal talent to ensure they meet the quality and style requirements for our songs.

• Outreach and Recruitment:

  • Reach out to identified talent to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vocalists, agents, and industry contacts.
  • Coordinate auditions and casting calls to assess vocal talent.

• Negotiation and Contracts:

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vocalists and their representatives.
  • Ensure all agreements are aligned with company goals and comply with legal standards.

• Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the creative and production teams to match vocalists with appropriate songs.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to vocalists during the production process.

• Industry Trends:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging talent in the music scene.
  • Identify new and innovative ways to discover and recruit talent.

• Database Management:

  • Maintain a database of potential and confirmed vocal talent for current and future projects.
  • Track and update talent profiles with relevant information and performance metrics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience or Willingness to Learn as a Talent Scout, Vocal Coach, Casting Director, or similar role in the music or entertainment industry.
• Strong understanding of vocal performance and the ability to evaluate vocal talent.
• Excellent networking and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for music and a commitment to finding and promoting exceptional vocal talent.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online talent discovery methods.
• Knowledge of the music industry and current trends in vocal performance.
