Responsibilities:
Website Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain websites for Songs for Centuries Inc. and its projects.
- Ensure websites are responsive and function well on all devices.
- Implement and manage website content using CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search rankings.
- Optimize website content, images, and metadata for SEO.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic using tools like Google Analytics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Technical Management:
- Ensure website security by implementing best practices and staying updated on the latest security threats.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure website functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to create and update web content.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure websites are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with external developers and agencies when necessary.
User Experience (UX) Design:
- Develop and implement user-friendly website interfaces.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve website functionality and user experience.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple web development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Create project plans, set milestones, and track progress.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with back-end development and databases (e.g., PHP, MySQL).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of web security practices and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for music and creating engaging online experiences.
